Cincinnati Football 2010: Secondary Gets An Alligator In Spelling

SB Nation's Down The Drive has conducted a stern review of the 2010 Cincinnati Bearcats football team, a squad that finished 4-8 overall and 2-5 in conference play despite a dismal showing from most of their Big East counterparts. Whatever the football equivalent is of getting an alligator in spelling, they may have found it with last year's secondary: Cincy ranked 106th nationally in pass efficiency defense, and the team's two interception leaders finished with a combined four picks for 13 yards. It is unclear at this time whether the defensive backfield actually consisted of particularly personable tackling dummies on casters, but if there were ever a time to be grateful to open the 2011 season against Austin Peay, this would be it.
