Via Tom Fornelli: in March, Army cornerback Richard King was involved in an altercation with the bodyguards of R&B legend Patti LaBelle, famous for such hits as “On My Own” and “Lady Marmalade,” sustaining a concussion in the process, which was especially concerning since he had suffered multiple concussions playing football last season, and as a disciplinary measure, Army has decided not only to suspend King from the football program for a year, but to send him into active duty; also, here is video not only of the altercation, but of LaBelle posing for photos with a police officer mere moments after King was injured and feet from his blood spatters on the ground.
