Mike Vrabel To Join Ohio State Coaching Staff, According To Reports

According to multiple reports, with the Columbus Dispatch leading the way, longtime NFL player and former Ohio St. Buckeyes defender Mike Vrabel will retire from pro football to join his former college roommate, Luke Fickell, on the Ohio State coaching staff. He's expected to be named the program's assistant coach.

Expect the school to make the announcement Monday if it’s actually happening, according to reports. Ohio State is denying the news at the moment.

Vrabel and Fickell played on Ohio State's defensive line together in the mid-1990s. It appears both also wear really Affliction-y shirts. Vrabel played 14 NFL seasons for the Steelers, Patriots and Chiefs.
