Recruit Fred Taylor’s Son From The Palm Of Your Hand

Considering the seedy state of college football recruiting, that headline sounds disturbing enough. Wait until I tell you it has a literal meaning and not a metaphorical one.

Fred Taylor's son, Kelvin Taylor, is one of the most sought-after recruits in the Class of 2013. He's got interest from every major program in the state of Florida and now each of them will be able to track Taylor on their Smartphone.

For a fee of $2,000, Carson created an app that pulls in content from Kelvin Taylor’s personal social media sites. It has highlight videos from Taylor’s YouTube channel, game-action photos from his Flickr account and the latest tweets from his Twitter page, @ImKelvinTaylor. It also displays various high school football stories from across the web, some of which are focused on Taylor, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back being courted by some of the country’s top colleges including Florida, Alabama and Miami.

Because you’re wondering, Taylor’s app has been downloaded 180 times since its launch two weeks ago.
