Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III had to bide his time last week during a bye on the schedule, but he picked up right where he left off against the TCU Horned Frogs two weeks ago. Griffin has dominated the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks through the first quarter and a half on Saturday evening.
Baylor’s Robert Griffin III Continues Offensive Fireworks, But Stephen F. Austin Is No TCU
The Bears have 274 total yards, 201 of which have been produced by Griffin. He is 13-of-14 for 132 yards and two touchdowns passes. Not to be outdone, his ground game is also on fire, averaging 11.5 yards per carry (six carries, 69 yards).
He’ll need to take it up a notch if he wants to match his five touchdown passes against the Horned Frogs. This is Stephen F. Austin, after all. He should have five touchdowns in the air and on the ground. OK, that’s a hyperbole, but he should be all over the Lumberjacks.
