Navy Vs. South Carolina Score: Marcus Lattimore Puts Gamecocks Back In The Lead, 24-21

The Navy Midshipmen held strong on their first defensive drive against the Gamecocks and followed that with a scoring drive to take the lead over the South Carolina Gamecocks, 21-17. Navy chewed up over six minutes on the game clock to drive 91 yards on 11 plays. However, the Gamecocks wouldn't let that lead last for long with their own long scoring drive.

Navy quarterback Kriss Proctor and Alexander Teich were picking up small portions of the field before Proctor found Bo Snelson for a 33-yard gain. Now at South Carolina's 47-yard line, Alexander Teich brought the ball to the 41, but then fumbled on the next carry. Luckily, Navy was able to recover the ball on South Carolina's own nine-yard line. A few plays later, Alexander Teich punched the ball in for a two-yard score on third down.

South Carolina drove deep into Navy territory on the ensuing drive on the strength of Marcus Lattimore, who now has 216 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Lattimore pounded the ball, finally finding the end zone on a seven yard run. The Gamecocks now lead, 24-21.
