The Oklahoma State Cowboys and Tulsa Golden Hurricane have yet to begin their scheduled Saturday night matchup. If these two teams were on the West Coast, this would be bad enough, but the issue is compounded by the central time zone and weather that's completely non-cooperative. Lighting, monsoon-like rain and even tornado warnings at times have the two teams sitting on their hands, waiting in an empty stadium.
Oklahoma State Vs. Tulsa: Weather May Force A Slumber Party
And therein lies the problem. The game is set to be played in Tulsa, and it’s already 10:45 local time there. Let’s generously assume the game lasts three hours, which seems unlikely, but humor us. Now we’re looking at a matchup that ends at 2 p.m., perhaps the best-case scenario at this point.
Nobody is quite sure if, or when, the Cowboys and Golden Hurricanes will get underway, but we’ll keep track of what’s going on. It’s going to be a long night in Tulsa, and for Oklahoma State fans.
