Stanford Vs. Arizona Final Score: Cardinal Roll, But Win May Be Costly

The Stanford Cardinal remained undefeated on Saturday night, opening Pac-12 play with a 37-10 win over Arizona. But the win may prove costly going forward as Stanford was bit hard by the injury bug. In the first half alone, Shayne Skov, Chris Owusu and Coby Fleener all left the game, and one injury may be long-term.

Skov went down with a nasty left knee injury early, going down awkwardly while making a tackle. Though no update on his status has been provided, he was seen lying on the training table through the game with his knee heavily wrapped. It could be bad news for the Cardinal, who rely on Skov to be an anchor on the defensive side of the ball.

Andrew Luck was solid as usual, throwing for 325 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Jordan Williamson and Jeremy Stewart each rushed for touchdowns, coming in the first and fourth quarters, respectively. Levine Toilolo and Zach Ertz were the recipients of Luck's touchdown passes.

Juron Criner was the only Wildcat to find the end zone, hauling in a six-yard pass from Nick Foles in the third quarter. Foles finished with 239 yards and a touchdown through the air while Criner finished with 48 yards and a score on six catches.
