The Pittsburgh Panthers are playing the South Florida Bulls. Nothing about this sounds exciting. But so far, these teams have combined for some entertaining competition, with Pitt leading, 10-7. Also, this happened:
USF Vs. Pittsburgh Score: B.J. Daniels, Tito Sunseri Trade Shots
Star USF quarterback B.J. Daniels gave the Bulls the advantage early with a 12-yard touchdown run up the left sideline, followed minutes later by a nine-yard Tito Sunseri sprint to even the score. Thus far, it's been a banner evening for quarterbacks tucking the ball just inside the pylon while galloping.
Pitt receiver Mike Shanahan is having a challenging game so far. He had a chance at a gimme touchdown late in the quarter but let it bounce off his chest. He then mishandled a dart that might've resulted in a first down. A field goal ensued.
If not for a Darius Patton fumble, the Panthers could have a significant lead already. They've gained 60 more yards than have the Bulls to this point. Ray Graham has been the engine, putting up 55 yards rushing on six attempts.
