The Utah State Aggies lead the BYU Cougars 14-13 at halftime after a quick first quarter that tapered off towards the half. The Aggies jumped out to a quick 7 point lead on an 80-yard touchdown run on the first play of the game. Robert Turbin exploded for 80 yards and the score.
Utah State Vs. BYU Score: Aggies Lead Cougars At Half
The Cougars quickly recovered however, scoring 10 points in the first quarter on a field goal and a 1-yard touchdown run by quarterback Jake Heaps. Also in the first quarter, Aggies defensive back McKade Brady was ejected from the game for a hit on a BYU wide receiver. The reasoning for the ejection was "targeting."
Thankfully, MockSession.com captured an animated .gif of the hit, so you can judge for yourself if it was ejection worthy.

In my humble opinion, the play was certainly flag worthy... but ejection worthy? Really? It may be important to note that the Utah State player who got ejected previously played for BYU. The wide receiver who got hit sustained a concussion last game, too. He returned to the game a few plays later.
