Marc Tyler Reinstated By USC Football In Time For Conference Opener

The third strike was the charm for USC Trojans running back Marc Tyler, to mix up cliches, but it appears he's learned his lesson. Coach Lane Kiffin announced Tuesday that Tyler is no longer suspended and will play against the Utah Utes this Saturday.

Tyler was originally suspended in mid-July after making some unflattering comments about the Southern Cal program and program bystander Kim Kardashian, all of which got caught on video. Then there were those incidents involving alcohol, and yeah. Lots of lessons to learn, but thankfully they were all learned by Sept. 6.

The team's leading rusher in 2010, Tyler produced 1,027 yards from scrimmage. His presence against the Minnesota Golden Gophers might've meant the team would not have had to lean on wide receiver Robert Woods and nothing else.
