Robert Griffin III is reportedly planning to declare for the 2012 NFL Draft, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. This should come as a shock to exactly nobody as the Heisman Trophy winner had almost nothing left to prove in college and is widely expected to be among the top picks in the draft.

In SB Nation's latest Mock NFL Draft, Ryan Van Bibber had Griffin going to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 4 pick. But Griffin might not last even that long if teams like the the Washington Redskins or Miami Dolphins decide to trade up. Mocking the Draft seemed to think the St. Louis Rams, who hold the No. 2 pick, might be one of the teams looking to trade. The only quarterback in the draft expected to go higher is Andrew Luck, who just about everyone has going No. 1 to the Indianapolis Colts.
