2012 Orange Bowl Live Updates: So Far, So Not Scoring

But we were promised points! The Clemson Tigers opened the 2012 Orange Bowl with a three-and-out after a dropped pass by Jaron Brown, and the entire world heaved in disappointment.

The West Virginia Mountaineers made a better go of it, crossing into CU turf before Geno Smith had to unfurl a prayer out of bounds. Corey Smith smacked a punt inside Clemson's five and this is pretty much LSU-Alabama. Abandon all hope of points ever.

One pass has been completed thus far, a seven-yarder from Geno Smith to Tavon Austin. Austin also picked up a first down on the ground for WVU, and that’s about the entire story thus far. The crowd appears to be largely orange based on what I’m seeing, but it’s indeed not much of a crowd.
