UCLA Football Dismisses Randall Carroll, Raymond Nelson, Wesley Flowers

UCLA has turned loose three players as Jim Mora’s first offseason begins.

New UCLA Bruins coach Jim Mora isn't wasting time in showing he means business around Westwood. There was the whole no-more-skipping-practice thing (revolutionary!), and now it's been announced that a trio of players is gone:

Bryan Fischer@BryanDFischer UCLA dismisses DE Wesley Flowers, TE Raymond Nelson and DB Randall Carroll from the team.

None of the three made major contributions in 2011, with junior Carroll pitching in a couple of tackles, and that’s about it. Underclassmen Flowers and Nelson were both rated as three-star recruits coming out of high school in 2010.

There’s no official reason yet on why the three players were cut loose.
