Mo Isom Didn’t Make LSU’s Spring Roster, But Will Try Again In Summer

LSU Tigers kicker hopeful Mo Isom has passed along the news of her post-tryout meeting with coach Les Miles. It seems the answer isn't quite, "No," but more of a, "Not yet," based on her tweets. Isom will have another chance to try out for the team during August workouts.

The former women’s soccer star has earned quite a following even before taking on the football challenge. Isom is attempting to become the SEC’s first-ever female football player and the first woman to play college football in almost a decade. She could provide LSU depth at field goal kicker or contend for a job as a kickoff specialist.
