Oklahoma, TCU Among Big 12 Schools Launching Fox Sports Deals
Getty ImagesFox Sports has reached multi-year broadcast agreements with several Big 12 schools in what appears to be the network’s answer to ESPN’s $300 million Longhorn Network.
The Oklahoma Sooners announced a 10-year partnership with Fox Sports on Thursday morning, which gives the broadcast company the right to air live games as well as original content in a Sooner Sports TV programming package. The deal also extends beyond football, and includes broadcasts of additional content such as men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, Olympic sports, softball, and head coach Bob Stoops’ weekly television show.
