The jury in the Jerry Sandusky Trial has been in deliberation for nearly two days but has finally come to a decision in the case. Sandusky originally had 51 criminal charges against him, but that number has been reduced to 48 after the judge threw out three of the counts for various reasons.
Jerry Sandusky Jury Reaches Verdict
The prosecution had mounds of evidence and testimony against Jerry Sandusky. Even his 31-year-old adopted son prepared to testify in court against his adopted father, alleging that he was abused by Jerry Sandusky as a child. In their closing arguments, the defense called into question the validity of the accusations made against Sandusky. Now we’ll see if any of it persuaded the jury.
