A juror in the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse trial said that a guilty verdict was reached in part because of “very convincing” testimony from the accusers who took the stand. Sandusky, the former Penn State football coach, was convicted on 45 counts of child sex abuse -- nearly every charge.

“It’s hard to judge character on the stand because you don’t know these kids,” Joshua Harper told NBC’s “Today.” “But most were very credible - I would say all.”
“It was very convincing,” he added.
After a swift trial and less than two days of deliberations, Sandusky was found guilty Friday. Mandatory minimums mean he will likely die in prison.
Sanduksy’s own impassivity as the verdict was read was also a confirmation that the jury’s decision was the right one, Harper said.In all, eight accusers appeared to speak to heinous acts of sexual assault, including forced oral sex and rape.
These descriptions were critical to the case against Sandusky. But as the mother of one accuser, Victim 6, said after the trial: “Nobody wins. We’ve all lost.”
