Ex-Seminole Greg Reid Accepted At Valdosta State, According To Report
Though it’s not the homecoming Greg Reid likely had in mind, it is a homecoming of sorts for the former Florida State defensive back. On Monday, Reid was officially accepted at Valdosta State, which is located in his hometown of Valdosta, Georgia.
Reid took to Twitter to help break the news that he’s officially a VSU Blazer, posting a picture of himself wearing a Valdosta State football t-shirt.

A source tells 680 The Fan’s Brandon Leak that Reid will transfer to Valdosta State, a Division II school located in southern Georgia. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Reid, who is from Valdosta, had faced a string of run-ins with the law while at FSU, “violating team rules” a number of times.

Getty ImagesFlorida State defensive back Greg Reid was arrested Tuesday night for a suspended license and possession of marijuana, WCTV in Tallahassee reports. According to the report, which includes a mug shot, he was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol and released from Lowndes County Jail on bond.
Reid was arrested last year on perjury charges, which were dropped, and suspended from a game last year.
