The Penn State Scandal has finally reached a sportsbook near you.
Penn State Football: Odds Off The Board for 2012 Championship

With the meaningful trials completed and NCAA sanctions meted out, it’s down to the relatively insignificant fallout in Vegas and around the world - you can’t bet on the Nittany Lions to win college footballl’s national championship.
Several online sportsbooks still had Penn State future odds posted, but shops like Bovada took them down. Over at 5Dimes, oddsmakers pulled down win total odds (which had been set at 7.5 victories on 2012).
The team is excluded from Big Ten playoff games and BCS bowl action for four years.
“I would expect in-season wagering on Penn State to be stronger this season as the story continues to play out and because so many fans and alumni will gravitate to the team,” said Jack Randall of OddsShark.com, which provides college football odds to SBNation.
USC and LSU remain the top betting choices at 7/2 and 4/1 respectively at Bovada. Alabama, Oklahoma and Florida State round out the Top 5.
