Back in April, Texas Tech wide receiver Darrin Moore was arrested on charges of a DWI. Associate Athletics Director for Communications Blayne Beal on Tuesday announced that Moore has been suspended from the team indefinitely, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.

Beal was firm during a phone conversation with The Avalanche-Journal and said Moore’s actions are not condoned by the university and he “made a poor choice.”

Moore was arrested April 13 on the 2300 block of Buddy Holly Avenue around 1:45 a.m. by Lubbock police Officer Charley Brewer, according to the crime report.

If Moore is convicted of DWI, he could face $2,000 in fines, jail time of up to 180 days, a potential one-year probation, and a suspended driver’s license. Last season for the Red Raiders, Moore caught 47 passes for 571 yards and eight touchdowns.
