The Wildcats come in with a new quarterback in Matt Scott. He's replacing Nick Foles who, despite suffering through a 4-8 record last year, lit up the Pac-12 and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles. In his senior year, Scott has the challenge of learning a new system after Arizona went out and hired new head coach Rich Rodriguez.
Rodriguez takes over a squad with potential that was in dire need of change. He last coached with the Michigan Wolverines, and before that resurrected the West Virginia Mountaineers program.
Toledo won’t be a pushover after having a strong 2011. The Rockets closed out their season with a Military Bowl victory over Air Force and are poised to once again be a bowl contender out of the MAC.
