In each of their first two games of the season, the No. 4 Oregon Ducks easily jumped out to early leads thanks to dominant play by their playmakers before shutting down their offense and coasting to victory in the second half.

After earning a 50-0 lead against Arkansas State in their opener, the Ducks allowed the score to slim to a 57-34. In their second game, against Fresno State, Oregon led 35-6 at halftime before cruising to a 42-25 win.
With five touchdowns and 247 yards of offense on just 18 touches for Heisman candidate De'Anthony Thomas, it's clear that the Ducks haven't kept the pedal to the metal in 2012 and they certainly don't expect to begin to when they play Tennessee Tech.
While the TTU Golden Eagles enter the game with back-to-back wins to open their season, Hampton and North Greenville don’t even approach the level of talent they’ll see in Eugene on Saturday, where they’ll be heavy underdogs.
