The Michigan Wolverines have not gotten off to as strong of a start as they might have hoped, but they can change that this Saturday when they host Massachusetts.
Michigan Vs. UMass Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More
No. 17 Michigan will try to move above .500 as they host Massachusetts on Saturday.

No. 17 Michigan is 1-1 on the season, losing to No. 2 Alabama in the season opener then edging out Air Force 31-25 last week. The Wolverines needed a huge performance from Denard Robinson to beat Air Force. Robinson threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 218 yards and two more touchdowns. Michigan will look to get its offense firing on all cylinders this week as Notre Dame and the Big Ten conference schedule loom. The Wolverines enter the game as 45-point favorites over UMass.
Massachusetts, playing in its first season at the FBS level, has gotten off to a rough start in 2012. The Mininutemen have scored just six points in two games with their 3.0 PPG average ranking 124th among FBS teams. Their defense isn’t ranked much better, coming in at 112th after they’ve allowed 41.0 PPG. UMass is coming off a 45-6 home loss to Purdue and will now have to go on the road to face Michigan in The Big House.
Saturday’s game will be the second meeting between the two schools. Michigan held on to beat UMass 42-37 in 2010.
Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, Big Ten Network
Point spread: Michigan favored by 45 points
