The TicketCity Bowl will be getting a new title sponsor, according to a report from The Dallas Morning News. The New Year’s bowl game is under new management, and that management has decided to move on from TicketCity.

The bowl game, which has been held the past two years, will reportedly be run by an organization called Heart of Dallas. One of the men involved with the group, Britton Banowsky, has been the commissioner of Conference USA for more than a decade. An official announcement regarding the change in leadership is expected on Oct. 4.

Conference USA, the Big 12 and the Big Ten will remain affiliated with the bowl game. As things stand now, the Big 12’s No. 7 team is set to play the Big Ten’s No. 6 in 2013, and a Conference USA school is set to play a Big Ten school in 2014.
