The TCU Horned Frogs (2-0) and Virginia Cavaliers (2-1) meet on Saturday with a little conference pride on the line. The No. 17 Horned Frogs are coming off a successful Big 12 debut, though they weren't overly impressive in beating Kansas. The Cavaliers will be looking for a far better effort after falling 56-20 to Georgia Tech last weekend.

A road win over a ranked power conference team is exactly what Mike London’s Virginia program could use. But, if the Cavs team that was blown out by Georgia Tech and fortunate to beat Penn State shows up, its chances will be slim. Virginia has issues to resolve on both sides of the ball, and it especially needs more help from an offense that’s been held to fewer than 300 total yards in each of the last two games.
TCU’s defense has been stingy over the team’s first two games. If the Horned Frogs manage to keep up their strong play on that side of the ball, they should take care of Virginia.
Game time, TV channel: Noon ET, ESPN
Point spread: TCU favored by 17½ points
