Arkansas (1-2) is coming off back-to-back losses, losing 34-31 to Louisiana-Monroe in addition to the loss to Alabama. The Razorbacks have allowed at least 24 points in all three games this season and currently rank 108th in the country in points against, allowing 36.7 points per game. After missing last week’s game, quarterback Tyler Wilson still isn’t a lock to play on Saturday, but Rutgers is reportedly expecting Wilson to play. Wilson played well in Arkansas’ first two games, averaging 281.5 passing yards per game while tossing five touchdowns.
Rutgers (3-0) defeated South Florida 23-13 last week and will bring one of the countries best defenses into Fayetteville. The Scarlet Knights are currently fifth in the country, allowing just 8.3 points per game. While the defense has been stellar, the offense has been led by junior running back Jawan Jamison. Jamison has rushed for 373 yards this season and has topped the 100-yard mark in all three games.
Saturday’s game will be the first of two meetings between the two schools.
