The Illinois Fighting Illini and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will meet in an intriguing out-of-conference matchup this weekend. The Illini are 2-1 this season, and they're coming off a 44-0 blowout win last week. The Bulldogs have been a surprise through three weeks, entering with a perfect 2-0 record with wins over Rice and Houston. They can also dance up a storm.

The Illini are led by quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase when healthy, but his status for the game is up in the air. If he is unable to go, Reilly O'Toole will make the start. O'Toole has thrown for 394 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions this year.
As for the Bulldogs, quarterback Colby Cameron has been great so far. He is completing nearly 70% of his passes and has thrown for seven touchdowns and no interceptions. Louisiana Tech also features two very talented tailbacks in Trevin King and Kenneth Dixon.
