It’s a week for new stuff in college football, with a pair of SEC imports showing their new league what they’re made of. Florida-Texas A&M and Georgia-Missouri will get the most attention, while Washington-LSU, Nebraska-UCLA and USC-Syracuse could be quite entertaining as well. (And good lord, poor Savannah State.)

College football’s second week doesn’t feature any ranked-on-ranked action, meaning the story of the weekend when all’s in the books will likely be upsets. That’s how these things work. Only seven ranked teams are on the road, however, so this might not be the weekend for dramatic shakeup.
