Missouri State Vs. Louisville Final Score: Cardinals Roll To A 35-7 Win

The Louisville Cardinals easily dispatched the Missouri State Bears 35-7 in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Louisville was in control throughout the affair, due in large part to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The sophomore who hails from Miami, FL was tremendous, completing 30-of-39 for 344 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Charles Gaines made his presence felt with three catches for 73 yards, including a 55-yard reception. Nate Ford was also on top of his game with 58 yards on four grabs and a touchdown.

The Cardinals will stay home to face the North Carolina Tar Heels next week while Missouri State will host Murray State.

Box Score Hero: Teddy Bridgewater
Again, the Louisville signal-caller was superb in leading his team to victory. Bridewater staked his team to an early 18-0 lead and never looked back, giving fans in the Bluegrass State something to be excited about. Anytime you complete 30-of-39 passes and accumulate 344 yards with two touchdown tosses, it’s a good day.

Rankings Ramifications: The No. 23 Cardinals might move up in the rankings next week if some teams ahead of them falter. Otherwise, this ho-hum victory won’t turn many heads.

Did they cover?: The Cardinals didn’t cover, considering the spread was 35 1/2 points.
