When the initial rankings were published, I overlooked the center rankings. With the center class in the 2013 NFL Draft, it’s an easy thing to do. Our top player, Alabama’s Barrett Jones, is in his first year at the position. Whether he stays there going forward probably won’t be decided until the Senior Bowl or when he’s in an NFL training camp.
2013 NFL Draft Center Rankings

The same can be said for Wisconsin’s Travis Frederick and Oklahoma’s Gabe Ikard, both converted guards. The top pure center is Southern California’s Khaled Holmes. He had high marks entering this season, but has been slowed by injuries. Against Utah, Holmes didn’t look 100 percent and was pushed around by Star Lotulelei.
