Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib has seen his former collegiate head coach and offensive coordinator with the Orange, Doug Marrone and Nathaniel Hackett, join the Buffalo Bills in the same capacities. And since the team has the eighth overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, Nassib spoke recently about the potential of rejoining his former coaches in the professional ranks.
Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib: Would ‘be awesome’ to get drafted by Bills
Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib sounds like he would like to join his collegiate coach with the Buffalo Bills.

In a report from Howard Simon of WGR 550 Sports Radio on Friday, Nassib, who will play in the Senior Bowl next Saturday, Jan. 26, seemed to think Buffalo would be a good fit for him.
Here’s Nassib, from the interview:
“Quarterbacks want to get drafted to a team where there’s a quarterbacks coach that can develop them. Who better to be with than a guy you’ve been with for three years?”(Hackett is also the Bills QB Coach). If I had the opportunity to go there, it would definitely be awesome.”
Nassib is the ninth-best quarterback prospect in this year’s draft, according to SB Nation’s Dan Kadar in his positional rankings. In 2012, Nassib threw for 3,749 yards -- completing 62.4 percent of his throws -- along with 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
