Mocking the Draft podcast, Episode 18: Ra’Shede Hageman, Stephon Tuitt and other NFL Draft talk

On Episode 18 of the Mocking the Draft podcast, we shifted the focus to the defensive line.

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

It’s easy to start looking ahead to the NFL for some fans. Eight weeks into the season, a handful of teams have already slipped out of contention and have their eyes on next season. In the meantime, prospects are beginning to separate themselves from the pack in college football.

Two such players are Jadeveon Clowney and Ra'Shede Hageman. On Episode 18 of the Mocking the Draft podcast, we discussed those two as well as some other defensive linemen. While most of the focus has been on the quarterbacks this fall, the 2014 NFL Draft also has a talented crop of defensive players.

The defense talk gave way to a discussion about Todd McShay's recent conference call and some of his main talking points. That led to a discussion about the quarterback class, where a bold statement involving A.J. McCarron and Logan Thomas may have been uttered.
