NFL Draft 2014: Boise State DE Demarcus Lawrence will enter
Boise State’s Christmas Eve loss to Oregon State was the final game of Demarcus Lawrence’s college career.

Lawrence, a 6’3, 245-pound defensive end, had a monster year for Boise State. He finished the season with 20.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks after collecting 13.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks as a sophomore. Lawrence has the NFL skill set to match his college production, too. Despite being a bit light, Lawrence has the length and aggressive hands to keep blockers out of his body. He’s also a high-energy player.
In Mocking the Draft’s latest positional rankings for the 2014 NFL Draft, Lawrence came in as the No. 12 defensive end. He could also be a fit in a 3-4 defense as an outside linebacker given his change of direction ability. At this point, Lawrence has a strong chance to come off the board on the second night of the NFL Draft, but don’t be surprised if he’s a hot name throughout the pre-draft process.
