California Golden Bears wide receiver Keenan Allen is disappointed he cannot participate in drills at the NFL Scouting Combine due to a knee injury. Allen was especially looking forward to running to 40-yard dash and showing off his speed. "I definitely wanted to come out here and show everybody that I could run. Definitely looking forward to running a 4.4 as my times are getting closer to clocking that," Allen said.
NFL Combine 2013: Keenan Allen disappointed to miss 40-yard dash
California wide receiver Keenan Allen was looking forward to running the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine prior to tweaking his knee injury.

Allen tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, ending his season. Prior to the injury he caught 61 passes for 737 yards and six touchdowns in nine games. Allen said he tweaked the injury while training for the draft. Still, Allen is considered the top wide receiver prospect in the draft by Mocking the Draft.
The California Pro Day is March 14 and Allen has said he will run. He is targeting the time of 4.4 seconds and said he ran 10 and 20-yard dashes at that pace in training before tweaking his knee injury.
