NFL Combine 2013: Tank Carradine will do drills in April, run 40-yard dash

Florida State defensive end Tank Carradine said he expects to be healthy and run through the full set of combine drills in April after tearing his ACL in November.

Florida State Seminoles defensive end Tank Carradine expects to be 100 percent by the 2013 NFL Draft after suffering a torn ACL in late November. Carradine said he will be back to normal before April and plans to go through all the combine drills the week before the draft for NFL scouts and coaches.

Carradine plans to do some work at the Florida State Pro Day on March 19, but will not go through a full workout until April. He claims that prior to his injury, he had run 40-yard dashes of 4.62 and 4.64 seconds. Those times would place him among the top 40 times for defensive lineman in recent years.

Despite his torn ACL, Carradine is still the seventh-ranked defensive end by Mocking the Draft and is projected as a second-round draft pick. Had he not injured his knee, Carradine may have been a first-round pick. In 2012, he recorded 11 sacks in 12 games before tearing his ACL.
