After the running back drills at the NFL Scouting Combine, no one had improved their draft stock more than Texas A&M's Christine Michael. Michael was the top performer in the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 3-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle among running backs, but it wasn't all good news for Michael. He overslept and missed two team interviews, according to Gil Brandt.
NFL Combine 2013: Christine Michael slept through 2 interviews
Texas A&M running back Christine Michael wowed scouts in combine drills, but overslept and missed two interviews.

Michael needed a good combine after spending the 2012 season in Kevin Sumlin’s doghouse at Texas A&M, limited to just 88 carries as a senior. He certainly delivered and proved that he has all the physical attributes needed to succeed in the NFL, but one of the question marks about Michael was his attitude and behavior. Sleeping through two of the most important interviews of your life is not a good way to show teams your maturity.
Hopefully Michael just had an alarm clock error and is doing all the things needed to clean up any questions about his attitude.
