A consensus top five quarterback in the 2013 NFL draft, former Razorbacks helmsman Tyler Wilson showed off his arm at the Arkansas pro day on Friday. Though he did not participate in all drills -- skipping the 40-yard dash and the vertical -- Wilson did partake in accuracy and deep passing drills. His teammate, running back Knile Davis, also chose to not participate in traditional drills, instead running pass-catching drills in front of the pro scouts.

After a disappointing combine, results for Wilson were positive. Eric Bolin of the Times Record reported an unofficial total for the prospect’s accuracy drill, saying he completed 77 of 84 of his passes. One of which was reported secondhand by Tony Pauline was a 59-yard pass that was “on the money,” and that only one deep throw was “bad.” Pauline also tweeted that he heard that Wilson “looked good” overall.
Wilson has been consistently mentioned in the same breath with top quarterback prospects Geno Smith, Matt Barkley and Mike Glennon. Though CBS Sports gives him a second-round grade, a mock draft done by one of their writers has him going No. 8 to Buffalo. Multiple SB Nation mock drafts also have the Razorback in the top 10, with teams like the Cardinals and Jets taking the plunge.
Over his junior and senior seasons, the Greenwood, Ark., native threw for more than 7,000 yards, 45 touchdowns and just 19 interceptions.
As for Davis, Pauline reported that he heard that the running back looked good catching passes. The Missouri City, Texas, native has struggled with injuries since high school, and can count three broke ankles and two broken collarbones on his injury chart. Though he crushed it at the combine (31 bench reps, a 4.37 40), he will have to prove he can stay healthy if he wants to be drafted.
