Every word and action from an NFL team during this time should be taken with a substantial grain of salt, as every team is putting out smokescreens and trying to keep their actual plans a secret.

USA TODAY SportsThe NFL pre-draft process continued on Wednesday with a flurry of more news on visits that have been, visits to come, and visits that went down today. There is never any shortage of news as far as college prospects meeting with needy NFL teams before the draft, so let’s not waste any more time.
- The Denver Broncos are not unfamiliar with taking running backs in the draft and they could be looking for youth at the position, so no surprise that they met with Christine Michael, per his Twitter account. They also set up a visit with safety John Boyett.

USA TODAY SportsAs the NFL Draft nears, prospects and teams are busier than ever, with private workout meetings taking place around the nation and around the clock.
Elsewhere, Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o paid a visit to the Detroit Lions on Tuesday, and the Lions hosted Alabama offensive lineman Chance Warmack as well. Warmack is projected to go 18th overall to the Dallas Cowboys in Matthew Fairburn’s latest mock draft for SB Nation.

Jonathan DanielTe’o was once considered a potential Top 10 prospect after finishing the 2012 regular season as a Heisman Trophy finalist. Many felt he was exposed in the BCS National Championship Game against an overpowering Alabama offense, however. The following weeks and months didn’t help Te’o’s case. It came out rather publicly that his relationship with Lennay Kekua was a hoax, and he had a disappointing showing at the NFL Combine.

The next few weeks will be filled with misinformation regarding prospects and teams’ interests. But prospect visits have begun to leak in full force. A team is allowed 30 pre-draft visits, so a visit doesn’t necessarily link a team and player on draft weekend.
