NFL draft combine: DeAndre Hopkins, Mark Harrison occupants of trashed hotel room, per report

The trashed hotel room in Indianapolis was reportedly registered to a pair of wide receiver prospects.

An Indianapolis hotel room occupied by a pair of potential NFL draft picks during the February scouting combine was left trashed in the wake of the NFL scouting combine in February. On Thursday evening, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the hotel room in question belonged to Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and Rutgers wide receiver Mark Harrison.

Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports had the original report that said the room was left in pretty bad shape, with food on the beds, toothpaste on the bathroom mirror, trash in every location, and human waste left everywhere in the bathroom. Who actually trashed the hotel room is still unknown; Schefter’s report only identifies who the room was registered to. Alex Marvez of Fox Sports also reports that Hopkins left the room several hours before the mayhem ensued, so it’s unclear as to who destroyed what.
Hopkins is considered to be a player that has a good shot of getting picked in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Hopkins is the top-ranked wide receiver on SB Nation’s big board, and is ranked 21st overall among all prospects. Harrison is also considered a player who has a great shot of being drafted, where he’s ranked 180th out of the 200 top prospects.
