The Minnesota Vikings are trying to trade up in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft to take Manti Te'o before the Chicago Bears have a chance to draft him with the No. 20 pick, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
2013 NFL Draft rumors: Vikings reportedly want to trade up for Manti Te’o
Remember when Manti Te’o was going to drop out of the first round? Well forget about that, as he may be gone before pick No. 20.

Both the Vikings and Bears love Te’o, according to Rapoport, and could end up battling for the right to select the Notre Dame linebacker. The Vikings, who hold the No. 23 and No. 25 picks, have been rumored to be trying to move up in the draft all week.
In Matthew Fairburn's final mock draft, he has Te'o falling to the Ravens at No. 32, but that no longer looks like a possibility. Dan Kadar has the Vikings taking Te'o at No. 23 in his final mock, with the Bears drafting middle linebacker Arthur Brown at No. 20. If Rapoport is correct, though, the Bears will take a hard look at Te'o if he's available at 20, and the Vikings may not be willing to take that chance.
