On the third and final day of the 2018 NFL draft, all eyes were on Central Florida’s Shaquem Griffin. The best story of the draft this year, Griffin waited until the fifth round when the Seahawks took him with the 141st pick.

Now, the NFL world eyes another list of prospects hoping to catch on with a team despite not being drafted. It’s the post-draft tradition of scooping up the rest of talented players out there.

Undrafted free agency is a mad scramble for players to find homes and teams to load up their offseason rosters. UDFAs go on the same wage scale as drafted rookies, and the 2018 undrafted free agent salary is likely to be around $570,000. That’s for players who stay on rosters for the full season; most UDFA signings won’t last that long.

The reality is that guaranteed salary and the likelihood of getting one of those roster spots is just as tough for a player picked in the later rounds of the draft as it is for the guys who get deals after the draft ends.

As for the players left, there are lots of good linemen and defensive backs left from the top 200 list. We’re keeping track of all the UDFA moves here.
