The San Francisco 49ers are returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1994 season after coming back from an early 17-point deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons, 28-24. Thanks to a defense that settled down the in the second half, a commitment to Frank Gore and the running game, and just enough plays on the outside by Vernon Davis and the 49ers wide receivers, Jim Harbaugh and the Niners are back in the Big Game with a chance to play for the franchise's sixth Super Bowl win.
