NFL inactives Week 9, Lions vs. Jaguars: Calvin Johnson is active, expected to play

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is listed as active against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is listed as active and is expected to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Johnson is recovering from a knee injury, but various reports have confirmed that Johnson will be on the field against the Jaguars.

Two key players listed as inactive for this game are Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew and Lions safety Louis Delmas. Jones-Drew is expected to miss significant time after injuring his foot against the Raiders on Oct. 21.

For the season, Jones-Drew had 414 rushing yards on 86 carries (4.8 average) and one touchdown. He also has 14 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Delmas is recovering from a knee injury that caused him to leave the third quarter of Sunday's 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Delmas had already missed the first four games of the season due to knee surgery in the offseason.

The complete list of inactive players for the Lions includes QB Kellen Moore, S Amari Spievey, S Louis Delmas, OT Corey Hilliard, OT John Fox, LB DeAndre Levy, and WR Brian Robiskie.

The Jaguars will be without RB Montell Owens, RB Maurice Jones-Drew, RB Greg Jones, S Dwight Lowery, DT Jeris Pendleton, CB Rashean Mathis, and WR Anthony Armstrong.

The Lions and Jaguars are scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET.
