NFL inactives Week 9, Cowboys vs. Falcons: Sean Weatherspoon out for Sunday’s game

The inactive lists for the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons have been released.

The Atlanta Falcons will be without linebacker Sean Weatherspoon when they host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Weatherspoon suffered a high ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of last week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Also on the inactive list for the Falcons: quarterback Dominique Davis, wide receiver Kevin Cone, offensive guard Garrett Reynolds, offensive tackle Lamar Holmes, defensive tackle Travian Robertson and defensive end Jonathan Massaquoi.

Here's the list of inactive players for the Cowboys: center Phil Costa, linebacker Dan Connor, running back DeMarco Murray, free safety Matt Johnson, defensive end Sean Lissemore, free safety Charlie Peprah and wide receiver Andre Holmes.

The Cowboys' running game is without its starting center and running back with Costa and Murray being out. This means Dallas will have to explore its depth on the offensive line, as well as trust Felix Jones with the ball carrying duties.

The Falcons are 7-0, remaining as the league’s only undefeated team going into the game. The Cowboys are 3-4.
