Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football slate kicks off tonight to open Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season, with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Washington Commanders in a battle of NFC title hopefuls.

And the prelude to the game will sound a little bit different.

While Amazon Prime has used songs from guitarist Robert Randolph in the past as a lead-in for Thursday Night Football, the 2025 season features a new song from singer-songwriter Shaboozey. His new track “Let ‘Em Know” will be featured as the opener for this season, both for Thursday Night Football itself and Thursday Night Kickoff.

The streaming giant released a teaser of “Let ‘Em Know,” highlighting the Commanders and the Packers, ahead of the 2025 NFL season:

Shaboozey, whose musical stylings blend various genres including country and hip-hop, released his debut album Lady Wrangler back in 2018 with Republic Records. He collaborated with Duckwrth on “Start a Riot,” which was included on the soundtrack for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and served as a launching point for his career.

He exploded onto the national scene in early 2024 with “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which also paved a way for his work with Beyoncé. A member of her team heard the then-unreleased track -- which spent 19 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 -- and he was asked to sing on two tracks with Beyoncé, both of which were included on Cowboy Carter.

“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” remains tied with “Old Town Road” from Lil Nas X as the two songs to spend the most time atop the Billboard Hot 100 in the history of the singles chart.

This is not Shabozzey’s first foray into the NFL world. He performed at halftime of the 2024 game between the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day at Ford Field, and performed with Post Malone during halftime of the Christmas Day game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans.

He received several nominations for the 67th Grammy Awards, including nominations for Song of the Year, Best Country Song, and Best Country Solo Performance for “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” as well as a nomination for Best New Artist.
