Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with the Indianapolis Colts visiting the Tennessee Titans for an AFC South battle at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Titans have sputtered out to an 0-2 start to the year and wilted in the second half of last Sunday’s 33-19 loss to the Rams. There were some positive takeaways from the loss, namely the performance of rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor.

Below, we’ll go over Ayomanor’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 3.

Fantasy Football analysis: Titans WR Elic Ayomanor

Ayomanor had a solid outing against the Rams last Sunday, catching four of six targets for 56 touchdowns and his first career touchdown in the loss. His impressive one-handed helmet catch immediately preceded his touchdown grab at the end of the first half and that sequence was the first glimmer of the potential that he and No. 1 pick Cam Ward possess as a duo in Nashville.

The fourth-round wideout from Stanford could emerge as one of the breakout rookie wideouts this season and some of his metrics through two games are encouraging. He ranks in the top-25 among receivers both target share (23.21%) and average depth of target (15.54), so we’ll see if he can continue to build on his Week 2 performance as the season unfolds.

Start or sit in Week 3 PPR leagues?

Sit. I can’t quite bring myself to tabbing Ayomanor as a fantasy starter just yet, but he’s someone to definitely monitor in the coming weeks as Tennessee’s rebuild rolls along. I’ll point out that he’s still only rostered in 22.8% of fantasy leagues so if you’re looking for a waiver wire piece that could potentially help you down the road, now would be a good time to snag the rookie.

Start or sit in Week 3 standard leagues?

Sit.
