Welcome to the Week 4 waiver wire watch!

We had a wild weekend of action across the NFL and it was special teams that ended up being the deciding factor in several games around the league. Whether you won your fantasy league matchup or got absolutely smoked, you’re probably looking for ways to fortify your rosters ahead of next week. That’s where we come in.

We’ll go over some kicker options that you should consider scooping off the waiver wire and we’ll classify a waiver add as someone that is rostered in roughly 40% of leagues at maximum. Something to note that this is the last week where all teams will be in action before byes start going into effect, so keep that in mind.

Spencer Shrader, K, Indianapolis Colts (10%)

Indianapolis remains the surprise team of the NFL so far this season and Shrader continues to show off his leg in their early-season run. He wasn’t 100% perfect in the team’s 41-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, but he still put plenty of points on the board by going 2-3 on field goal attempts and a perfect 5-5 on extra points.

The Colts offense boast the league’s best success rate at 51.58% and that ability to stay ahead of schedule and move the chains benefits Schrader with the number of scoring opportunities he gets each game. He’s the top fantasy kicker with an average of 15 points per game and with a rostership of just 10%, I question what you, the fantasy manager reading this, is waiting for. The best kicker in the league is just sitting there on the waiver wire! It’s a free 15 points for your lineup every week! Take him!

Week 4 matchup: @ Los Angeles Rams, 4:05 p.m. ET

Jason Myers, K, Seattle Seahawks (4.6%)

Myers has been an excellent boot for Seattle through three weeks and got plenty of chances to put points on the board in the team’s 44-13 beatdown of the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The veteran was flawless by going 3-3 on field goals and 5-5 on extra points, racking up 17 points for fantasy managers. The Seahawks have a Thursday night matchup this week and given how sluggish offenses can be on these short weeks, they might need to lean on Myers a bit more in this showdown.

Week 4 matchup: @ Arizona Cardinals, 8:15 p.m. ET (Thursday night)

Will Reichard, K, Minnesota Vikings (9.3%)

Minnesota went nuclear against the Cincinnati Bengals, forcing five turnovers and using that to fuel a 48-10 beatdown on Sunday. That dominant effort allowed for Reichard to get plenty of cracks in this one, going 2-2 on field goal attempts and 6-6 on extra points. The second-year leg from Alabama is has been flawless in his endeavors so far and he’s benefitted managers with an average of 10.3 fantasy points per game. Give him some consideration if you’re looking for a kicker this week.

Week 4 matchup: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, 9:30 a.m. ET (Ireland game)
