Update: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero have reported that New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is believed to have suffered a torn ACL. He will be further evaluated, but his 2025 season is most likely over with the news.
Malik Nabers injury: Giants WR suffers possible torn ACL in Week 4
Giants WR Malik Nabers was carted to the locker room after suffering a knee injury against the Chargers.

New York Giants wide receiver has exited the team’s Week 4 home matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers with an apparent knee injury and has been ruled out for the rest of the game. The second-year wideout went up for a grab while being defended by Chargers cornerback Cam Hart in the second quarter and came down hard on his right knee. He had to be carted off the field and into the locker room, where he is most likely done for the rest of the afternoon.
Nabers had caught two targets for 20 yards for the Giants prior to his exit and his absence is a devastating blow to the team’s offense. The 2024 first-round pick out of LSU immediately broke out as a rookie last season, racking up just over 1,200 receiving yards and seven touchdowns to earn Pro Bowl honors right out the gate. He picked up right where he left off from last year with a productive start to the 2025 campaign and Giants fans were looking forward to the connection between him and rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart heading into this Week 4 matchup.
With Nabers out, Wan’Dale Robinson will presumably assume the the role as New York’s top receiver. We’ll see how severe the wideout’s injury is and if he’ll miss a significant amount of time.
Note: This is a developing story that will be updated as more information becomes available regarding Nabers’ status.
