We now know who will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LX.

Bad Bunny.

After months of debate, the singer was confirmed as the lead artist for the Super Bowl Halftime Show, that will be part of Super Bowl LX. That game will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on February 8, 2026.

This will not be Bad Bunny’s first appearance on the Super Bowl halftime stage. He joined the program for halftime of Super Bowl LIV, where Jennifer Lopez and Shakira were the headline acts. During that set Bunny joined Shakira on stage where they performed a cover of his song “I Like It.” They then transitioned into a mash-up of Shakira’s “Chantaje” and Bunny’s “Callaíta.”

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history,” said Bad Bunny in a statement released by the league.

”What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage,” said Sean “Jay-Z” Carter.

Two popular female artists, Taylor Swift and Aele, were rumored in recent weeks to be among consideration for the spot.

Bad Bunny will have huge shoes to fill at Super Bowl LX. Last year’s halftime performance from Kendrick Lamar went into the books as the most-watched halftime show in Super Bowl history, with a record 133.5 million viewers tuning in.

That mark dethroned Michael Jackson’s longstanding record of 133.4 million viewers in 1993.

Lamar was the first solo rapper to perform the Super Bowl halftime show.
